Reconstruction module

In the Reconstruction module, it is possible to create several alignments.

Adding an alignment

To create a new alignment you need to use the add align icon in the Toolbar.

Displaying the alignments

When you select the "Alignments" menu, the list of created alignments associated with a dataset is displayed in the Explorer zone. You can display alignments associated with a cognate set by selecting the align icon. The alignments appear in the Active elements zone.

A colour code is used to indicate the status of the alignments:

Selecting an alignment

To select an alignment, you need to click on it in the Active elements zone. The alignment appears and all the operations and tools are available in the Toolbar.

Adding a tag column to an alignment

To add a tag column to an alignment, you need to use the tag icon (in the Toolbar). Then, you need to complete the dialog box that appears.

You can choose a "default" title by using the add button or give a name and validate by using the new button.

A tag column is added to the alignment.

Defining a record field as a tag column

It is possible to use one of the fields used in the sources as a tag column: you need to use the fieldtag icon (in the Toolbar).

A dialog bow appears in which you can choose the field in the drop-down menu.

Deleting a tag column from an alignment

To delete a tag column from an alignment, you need to use the delete icon (in the tag column).

Adding a tag to a record

In each tag column, you can give a tag to each record of an alignment by using the add icon.

A dialog box appears and you can:

Modifying a record tag

To modify a tag created in a tag column, you need to click on it and edit it in the dialog box that appears.

Deleting a tag

To delete a tag created in a tag column, you need to click on it and delete the tag from the cloud in the dialog box that appears by using the delete icon.

It is possible to show tag columns by using the hide icon (in the Toolbar).

It is possible to hide tag columns by using the show icon (in the Toolbar).

Use saved queries

In the statistic module, it is possible to use the save icon to visualize the queries that have been save in this module.

Recordsets
