Langue : bambara (bam) Enquête : Da: <1854 ; “From Fúrēkaba, born in the well-known town of Sḗgu, on the Dṣḗlba or Niger, where he lived to about his thirtieth year, when he went to the Gambia as a trader, and, after two years' stay there, to Sierra Leone, where he has now been for fifteen years, being employed by English merchants in their trade with natives of the different Mandén·ga countries. He is the only Bámbaran· at present in Sierra Leone; and I could only get him for my purpose by the favour of the Honourable Mr. Heddle, his employer.”.
